As a fast-growing consumer goods business, with turnover of £3 billion, sustainability is becoming increasingly important.
This role is aimed at developing, coordinating, and ensuring the implementation of an environmental and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) sustainability strategy across procurement and the whole of Pladis. This role has the potential to ensure sustainability is front and centre of the agenda as the organisation experiences growth. Acre were engaged for its specialist network in supply chain sustainability specifically within food and beverage, and for Frameworks lite, which enabled them to find a candidate with strong leadership and engagement skills
Acre mapped the market leaders across the UK and Europe to build an impressive shortlist of high calibre candidates. As well as this, the use of Frameworks Lite allowed a more bespoke 2nd interview, enabling the organisation to find the candidate with not just the right technical skills, but the soft skills which were important for this role to be a success.
