Acre’s consultants really look after and nurture their portfolio of potential candidates. This is really their strength because they know sustainable development, CSR and QHSE professionals so well, along with their experiences, their personalities and where they are in their careers. This knowledge allows them to be very responsive when it comes to finding the right candidate for their clients (or even the right client for some of their candidates). Moreover, they regularly give feedback to candidates, be that good or bad.

Formed in 2016, Pladis global brings together over 300 years of family baking and confectionary experience with some of the worlds most loved snacking brands including McVities (United Biscuits), Ulker and GODIVA. As a fast-growing consumer goods business, with turnover of £3 billion, sustainability is becoming increasingly important.

This role is aimed at developing, coordinating, and ensuring the implementation of an environmental and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) sustainability strategy across procurement and the whole of Pladis. This role has the potential to ensure sustainability is front and centre of the agenda as the organisation experiences growth. Acre were engaged for its specialist network in supply chain sustainability specifically within food and beverage.

Acre mapped the market leaders across the UK and Europe to build an impressive shortlist of high calibre candidates.
