"I find the Acre team to be thoroughly professional and innovative in both the recruitment and talent development markets. Acre Frameworks and the Advisory Panel is a vital and effective resource in developing good EHS leaders and individuals, as well as helping to change the public's perception of the EHS sector. I love working with Acre because I know it is mutually beneficial and they share our ethical and professional values."
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of working with the extremely talented Kendelle Tekstar from Acre Frameworks. I participated in some self-discovery around my non-technical competencies, with the aim of influencing & improving my thinking & behaviour, as part of my continued professional development.
The whole process was very insightful and most certainly thought provoking.I have come away with a much improved self-awareness and a discovery of self-development. I am just trying to be the best that I can by taking responsibility for self leadership. This positive process has highlighted areas which I was previously blinded too and where I now hope to address this and unlock the further potential for growth.
Laing O’Rourke have a vision for doing safety differently and this requires that not only do we approach the subject with a different mindset but that we consider the sort of attributes and characteristics that our people require to be successful in this new paradigm. Acre Frameworks gives us the insight required to allow both the organization and, more importantly, the individual to focus on areas of strength and opportunity allowing both to excel in these areas of new challenge.
Frameworks is the kind of innovative and bold move we have come to expect from Acre. This initiative leads the way in driving a much needed change in the EHS profession and confirms Acre’s place as market leader. The feedback from assessing the entire Lendlease EHS team has allowed us to refocus, engage, and develop our people to drive our organizational goal of creating an incident and injury free workplace. Utilizing this tool as part of their recruitment offering, Acre support us in making informed hiring decisions and seamlessly transition new staff from recruitment into development.
To help us to invest in the success of our EHS teams, we engaged Acre to identify group strengths and development needs using their Frameworks tool.
To ensure that we were able to put their recommendations into action, we also decided to include personal coaching sessions for each team member. The sessions with our coach have provided each team member the ability to receive professional and independent development guidance based upon their discussions and Frameworks assessment. It has been so well received that we are excited to continue the coaching going forward.
With their commitment to facilitate the EHS industry's transition towards a more progressive approach through Acre Frameworks, Acre was uniquely positioned to partner with us on our project to put Sustainability and EHS at the heart of our business.
We had incredibly positive feedback on the Development and Assessment Centre (DAC) Acre Frameworks designed for us, attended by our top EHS/Sustainability leaders across the globe. Bespoke training and development plans were rolled out globally based on outcomes from the DAC with support from Acre, which once again received very positive feedback.
Why work with Acre Frameworks?
At Acre Frameworks, we know that it takes more than technical expertise to succeed in purpose-driven roles but recognize that there is a shortage of individuals with the non-technical skills required to drive change and deliver desired business outcomes. Our bespoke professional learning and development solutions are designed to tackle this gap head on, upskilling health and safety professionals across the globe with the non-technical skills essential to be effective in their role.
The Acre Frameworks discovery tool provides objective insight into a participant's work-based behavioural preferences through the use of an online personality questionnaire. These preferences are then mapped against our unique Competency Framework which is available at two levels: our Foundations Framework (available to anyone from entry-level to pre-management) and our Leadership Framework (available to anyone from management to executive level).
Our structured one-to-one coaching sessions and our data-driven training solutions are designed to develop self-awareness, enable self-leadership, and support skill acquisition.
At its formation, Acre Frameworks was created to enable the profession to not just rebrand but also to deliver its purpose of creating a safe and healthy working environment in which individuals can thrive. As the rate of change experienced in the professional world brings about new and unfamiliar challenges, a more progressive and collaborative approach to health and safety is needed.
In 2019, we decided to get curious and conducted an extensive qualitative research project involving over 200 hours of consultation with the Acre Frameworks Advisory Panel: a 96-strong community of leaders in the Health and Safety profession. Our findings can be found in our whitepaper, Co-creating the future of health and safety leadership.
