Acre are delighted to be supporting the hire of a Supplier Sustainability Manager. This is a new role that sits in the Sustainable Procurement function which has been created to ensure that the core values of the business are integrated throughout Belron's supply chain. The objective of the team is to deliver value across the 4 quadrants of QACS - Quality, Availability, Cost, and Sustainability.

This role will play a significant part in delivering Belron's Sustainability through the creation and ongoing development of strategies, policies, and processes, and leading close engagement with strategic group level suppliers.

You'll be able to:

  • Bring Sustainability to the top of suppliers' agendas and influence them to focus their actions and strategies on improving sustainability performance

  • Bring sustainability expertise to the Supply Management Team and implement change through strategy development and influence

  • Create and own a means of understanding and quantifying sustainability risks within the supply chain, a proactive way of prioritising focus on these risks, and plans for mitigating against them

  • Through close collaboration with supplier sustainability leads, build a deep knowledge of the sustainability landscape within the supply chain and the challenges that are present for all suppliers

  • Use supplier contacts to build and develop long term plans for driving sustainability performance forward in a way that benefits Belron, the suppliers, and society as a whole

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a responsible souring, ethical trade, audit or compliance role, either internal or for an audit provider

  • Strong numeracy skills able to communicate in an articulate and collaborative manner

  • Good IT skills including MS Office suite and database management

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, and an attention to detail

  • A special and clear interest in the subject area of sustainable and responsible sourcing and/Or corporate social and environmental sustainability
