Asia accounts for half of global greenhouse gas emissions, and a critical enabler for Asia to make the transition to a low-carbon future is sustainable finance.

As an international finance centre, Singapore seeks to play a useful role in mobilising capital for sustainable investments in Asia while it keeps pace with the region’s growing needs.

In this upcoming panel discussion and networking session hosted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Global Network, join Dr Darian McBain, Chief Sustainability Officer, MAS Singapore; and Daniel Hanna, Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Standard Chartered Bank, as they discuss the latest opportunities in the sector, how the government and industry players are scaling up sustainable finance in Asia, and how we can facilitate a progressive yet determined transition in Asia towards sustainability.
