Acre has partnered with a global asset manager who are looking to grow their London-based climate solutions team.
This team is focused on the integration and development of climate factors across all investment areas. This opportunity, specifically, has a strong focus on the manipulation of large data sets in efforts to produce climate outputs that can be utilised by both the distribution and stewardship teams.
Responsibilities:
Support the development of the in-house climate modelling system.
Identify and communicate portfolio-related climate risks and opportunities to both the distribution and stewardship teams.
Assisting in the building out of reporting and analysis tools to help PMs analyse their climate-aligned portfolios.
Contribute to the continuous development of SQL-focused models.
Background:
Experience in performance tuning and query optimisation with a specific focus on SQL functions.
Previous experience in data analysis/ modelling with a keen interest in climate change and climate investment.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Degree-level education in computer science, data science, maths or another data-related field.
