Acre is assisting DNV in hiring a General Manager to lead the growth of their French unit. You will manage and lead a team of world-class experts in supporting clients to integrate sustainability into their core business, enterprise risk management, operations, and value chains. You will have ownership of the unit's P&L and play a key role in advancing sales. This role provides a unique opportunity to have a strategic shaping impact on a leading specialist consultancy.

In this position, you will:

• Support and carry out DNV's strategy of focusing on clients, understanding clients' businesses and their needs, and delivering exceptional client value, with a focus on product sustainability and circularity, product regulatory compliance and sustainable supply chains.

• Ensure the team in France is positioned correctly to assist both new and existing clients with their transformation agenda

• Have ownership of the unit's P&L and have the opportunity to personally shape further growth, initiate significant project leads and realize further impact with clients. Fundamental performance targets include sales, revenue and profitability, client and staff satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven business development experience related to supply chain sustainability advisory and assurance services

• Project Director skills with senior internal and external stakeholder management experience

• Line management experience of at least a team of ten

• Demonstratable senior-level experience in corporate ESG/sustainability/supply chain/product compliance

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to be inclusive, clear and concise

• Excellent oral and written business French and English communication skills

• Willingness to travel and work throughout France and overseas
