Are you an experienced sustainability/ESG professional with a strong understanding of non-financial sustainability/ESG reporting? Are you looking to help an organisation develop, manage, and implement its reporting suite?

Then please continue reading. Our client, a key financial institution in the UK, is looking to appoint an ESG Reporting Specialist to join their team. Part of this role will focus on driving the external ESG reporting agenda and leading the development and implementation of external reporting and disclosures to meet the firm's reporting requirements alongside stakeholders from finance, operations, and underwriting.

Upon joining the firm, the role will provide you with the autonomy and scope to develop and implement key environmental sustainability objectives across the business.

What you will do

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will:

  • Develop ESG reporting in support of the firm's ESG strategy.

  • Keep abreast of developments in the market and horizon scan for upcoming regulations which could impact the firm.

  • Assist with firm-wide data collection for disclosures and reporting alongside identifying other data sources useful to the firm.

  • Liaise with teams from Audit, Compliance and Underwriting to ensure the firm's ESG reporting and climate risk assessment is imbedded across the business.
