How would your friends or colleagues describe you?

Are you the organised one? The one in the group chat who convenes the social calendar. Your to-do list is safely tucked away in the notes on your phone, and your budget is meticulously managed in an Excel spreadsheet.

Are you the multi-tasker? You're used to having a lot to do, but your strong sense of purpose and resolve to overcome obstacles and challenges until the job is done shines through.

Are you the one with an eye for detail? People ask you to give their documents a final check before they go out of the door - you're trusted as the last line of defence for mistakes.

If this is starting to sound relatable, you're in the right place.

That place is Acre, the global leader in sustainability recruitment & executive search. Founded in 2003 with offices in London, New York, Amsterdam, and Singapore, Acre is an exciting place to be - at the forefront of tackling climate change and doubling in size last year.

The Executive Assistant position at Acre is a new role created to support a small team of under 10 people in the Singapore office, to be as efficient and effective as possible. Being the planner, the organiser, and the multi-tasker will be the core qualities that make you perfect for the job, as day to day you'll be:

Providing Administrative & Travel Support:

  • You'll provide administrative support across the Singapore team in whatever capacity necessary - which could be proofreading a document, coordinating a guestlist, or filing business receipts.

  • You'll work with the global operations team and travel partner to coordinate seamless travel for those in your region and support relocations.

Office Management:

  • You'll be the face of the office, looking after day-to-day activities such as meet and greets, basic IT troubleshooting, and managing suppliers.

  • You'll be the key First Aider & Fire Safety Marshall for your team.

Supporting Marketing Activities:

  • You'll be proofreading and offering basic formatting support when it comes to internal documents, presentations, and pitches.

  • You'll be the on-the-ground representative for marketing when it comes to both internal and client-facing events. You'll support the global Marketing & Internal Communications teams by sourcing sustainable venues & suppliers, providing administrative support, and executing smooth events on the night.

We won't write a list of demands about what you will and won't have experience in; it goes without saying that you'll need to be organised, tech-savvy, and able to spot formatting and spelling or grammatical errors seamlessly. Having used Microsoft Suite, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint, and experience with project management tools will help you in this role.

Please note that applicants need to have the right to work in Singapore as visa sponsorship is not available.

The Executive Assistant position comes with some great benefits, such as:

  • 25 days of paid vacation time per year

  • Flexible working

  • Healthcare

And alongside that:

You will develop

We know that as people, we're better when we're constantly learning and developing, so we'll form an 'Alliance' with you, where we let you know what we'd like to get from you during your time at Acre, and then we'll ask you what you need from us. We'll meet you where you're at, as a human, offering you a holistic approach to reaching your goals.

You'll be a person, not a number

We take a long-term approach to supporting our teams' future career paths at Acre and beyond. We'll also invest heavily in your well-being, whether that's initiatives to support physical health, providing access to an Employee Assistance Scheme, or our pro-active approach to de-stigmatising issues surrounding mental and emotional health.

You'll do some good

A common thing to hear from those who join Acre is, 'I just didn't know that I could put my skills to good use and have a real impact at the same time.' You can bring your purpose to work and help us to build a sustainable future together.
