The Charging Equipment business unit is one of the most dynamic, innovative, and fastest-growing teams within the Group, and as Country Manager for this division, you will use your leadership skills and strategic acumen to expand Alfen's presence in the German market, with the support of an existing talented team comprised of 5 employees.
What will your key responsibilities be?
Visionary thinking is important for this role, as you will be a key contributor to decision-making regarding the country's overall policies, strategies, goals, and budgets.
Entrepreneurship, you will develop and implement policies related to the management of products, sales, service, and delivery process, among others
Outstanding knowledge of the electric mobility market in Germany, as you will conduct a strategic assessment of the competitive landscape, and generate projections and new ideas to improve the market share in the country
You will ensure the application of security standards, legal requirements, and external and internal QHSE measures and guidelines
As a leader by nature, you will encourage, motivate, and guide a team of 3 experienced sales managers and 2 knowledgeable technical support managers
A high sense of cooperation is also key in Alfen's business structure and you will maintain proactive communication with management, R&D, marketing, and product management among other departments throughout the structure and externally with customers and third parties.

What skills and experience will you need?
You have 5+ years of strategic sales experience in E-mobility /EV charging equipment or electronic equipment manufacturing
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, managing and encouraging sales teams
Higher professional education in Sustainable Energy, Business or Technology
Relevant knowledge of Germany's safety requirements within EV charging or electrical infrastructure
Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strategic and leadership competences
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments
Fluent (written and verbal) in English and German
Valid EU driving license
