This role will focus on asset raising and ongoing relationship management for their private equity funds from a wide range of institutional clients. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coverage of specific European geographic regions

  • Overseeing existing client relationships

  • Providing ongoing servicing, such as updates on investment strategies and major market developments

  • Ongoing relationship development at all relevant levels of client organisations and with consultants

  • Positioning for cross-sales into other investment strategies

  • Expanding the client's base of business via cross-sales and new business development

  • Identification of new business prospects across private markets business

  • Development and execution of strategic plans (in general and by investors)

  • Mastering content related to firm messaging and investment strategies.

Key Requirements:

Candidates for this role will be experienced client service/fundraising professionals with a demonstrated fundraising track record and experience.

  • Fundraising and/or Business Development experience across the UK and EU geographies for a private market fund

  • Established relationships with major institutional clients 

  • Intellectual curiosity, inquisitiveness and capability: in order to understand, appreciate, communicate and debate the macro-economic drivers associated with the move towards a more sustainable economic model

  • Strong presentation and communication skills: the ability to credibly carry a room; the ability to present and persuade at the CIO and investment committee levels

  • Work ethic: works hard with a particular willingness to roll-up sleeves, travel extensively and is able to work productively on the road

  • Sustainability literacy and conviction: the candidate will be able to articulate why sustainability is central to their view of the world and how that aligns with the Firm's ability to generate strong risk-adjusted returns.
