Interim Carbon Accountant

We are working with a specialist sustainability consultancy looking for an interim carbon accountant.

In this role, you will be joining the team to assist and support their clients in GHG protocol, footprinting, setting science based targets and analysing finance emissions for large investors. You will be supporting them with existing client engagement and assisting their product development activities.

​

This is an interim role that can be part-time and completed on a hybrid basis.

​

What you will be doing:

• Leading on GHG footprints and carbon accounting for clients

• Having insight into spend-based analysis

• Advising on financed emissions analysis for large investors and asset managers

• Setting and analysing science-based targets

• Managing TCFD and other climate risk scenario modelling

​

To thrive in this role, you will already have:

• In-depth knowledge of GHG protocol

• Experience with science-based targets, TCFD and carbon-related frameworks

• Past delivery experience to clients as a consultant
