Interim ESG Manager

Executing the ESG strategy for a leading manufacturing company, this 12-month fixed-term contract is ideal for you if you are interested in deep-diving into your sustainability experience and knowledge such as B-Corp, WELL, BREEAM, LEED, Science Based Targets and reporting standards like GRI.

As well as being a great communicator and having a passion for Net Zero, these would be your key responsibilities:

• Managing the ESG strategy and ensuring key milestones and targets are met

• Preparing and publishing a 2024 sustainability report according to GRI requirements

• Driving internal and external stakeholder engagement and representing the business externally

• Developing and implementing sustainable waste, energy and water initiatives with the operations department as well as sustainable travel initiatives and get full engagement from the business

• Creating and maintaining monthly impact reports and scoring ESG performance

• Engaging with supply chain and finding opportunities for collaboration while gaining responsible sourcing certification

• Continuous monitoring & calculation of energy use and scope 1,2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions from business operations monthly

You will be successful if you have:

• Knowledge of BREEAM/LEED/WELL

• Carried out ISOs, specifically 50001

• Written a sustainability report/ GRI report
