We are pleased to be supporting an exciting startup who are building bespoke data tools to assist institutional investors measure and optimize the social and environmental performance of their portfolios. The firm is very well funded and already has a proven product and clients and are now looking to scale out. To help achieve their ambitious growth plans our client is looking for an experienced Research Analyst to work in close collaboration with the Head of Research to help model the social and environmental impacts of products and services within clients investment portfolios.

Key responsibilities:

  • Quantitatively model the social and environmental impacts of products and services.

  • Regularly review industry publications and reports in environmental and health science to evaluate the positive and negative quantitative contributions of products and services to solving critical global challenges.

  • Support on new impact measurement model development, ensuring a globally scalable and standardized approach is followed.

Experiences Sought:

  • 3+ years experience in corporate sustainability research, that incorporates environmental and health sciences, either as an equity research analyst, corporate sustainability professional, research analyst or consultant.

  • Experience of working in a data heavy environment with large non-financial data sets and investment or scientific modelling.

  • Competency with life cycle assessment (LCA) / environmental risk assessment / cost-benefit analysis.
