This is a new hire at one of the worlds leading responsible investors as they seek to add further capability for their global equities team. It represents a unique opportunity to join a growing fund which is a leader in the impact investing field, demonstrating that competitive financial returns can be achieved through investing in companies that drive impactful outcomes as a function of the profitability of their core business model.

This senior analyst will play a key role within their global impact fund, working closely with the lead fund manager to target & evaluate investee companies.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide company specific and thematic research and investment ideas on global companies

  • Delivering in depth respect of analysis of the long-term growth potential from impactful companies

  • Regular company investment research and structural growth work supporting the Head of Impact Investment and working in liaison with the other analysts, including valuation modelling

  • Active contribution of original ideas that meet the investment criteria of the Impact team

  • Work with other members of the investment teams to identify possible impact ideas and themes

  • Engage, visit and analyse companies, either on own or other team members

Experiences sought:

  • Equity analysis, preferably bottom-up stock picking in a thematic framework for Global portfolios

  • Strong thematic experience, with a perspective and appreciation of the financial drivers of value across different sectors, including emerging growth opportunities

  • Valuation modelling and strong data mining skills
