Acre is working with a renowned property management company looking for a Senior Sustainability Capability Manager to work as an integral part of their sustainability team.

Using your expertise, you will manage the sustainability agenda across their core functions, e.g. operations, finance, digital, etc. and embed the core skills and capabilities needed to deliver on a sustainability business purpose. This will include establishing training and engaging with individuals in the company to develop an understanding of the ESG implications.

This is a hybrid contract role, with 2-3 days in the London office.

What you will do:

  • Play a role in raising the business' understanding of relevant sustainability matters, e.g. gathering insights through external events and attending stakeholder meetings

  • Work with the Sustainability, People & Culture and Operations teams to establish capability mapping and targeted development plans for teams

  • Assist teams across real estate in understanding SBTi commitments, potential future emerging net zero and sustainability policies and risks

  • Assist enterprise-wide teams in emerging strategy and policy being developed by the wider team as part of ongoing capability development

  • Work closely with all internal teams to integrate relevant academic and industry research insights into project and programme leasing opportunities

  • Support directors with targeted research and reporting (as required)

Personal Requirements:

  • Previous experience delivering training and workshops to staff (great communication skills)

  • Detailed experience working in environmental sustainability and reporting, particularly with GRESB, TCFD and GHG reporting

  • Detailed Awareness of SBTi commitment and Race to Zero pathways

  • Understanding of real estate
