The role: Sustainability Consultant Belgium

The aim of this role is to establish and grow Schneider Electric - Sustainability Business in Belgium. To facilitate and expand Schneider's sustainability consulting in the Belgian region, they are looking for a sustainability professional who will support the team and the clients by providing in-depth technical knowledge to reach their Sustainability targets towards NetZero.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Consulting large industrial clients in the Benelux region on sustainability and decarbonisation strategies and projects.

• You will play an active role in the commercial team in communicating the value of the Schneider sustainability services and solutions to clients.

• Ensure a constant flow of communication among the commercial team, the delivery team, and other internal stakeholder groups.

• Develop subject matter expertise to ensure prospect discussions are supported from a technical and implementation perspective.

• Support discussions to identify pain points (understand what the clients' needs are) and qualify the perceived value of the service.

• Provide Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs/RFIs, guiding client development resources in the preparation of industry-leading content.

• Communicating with the international Schneider organisation and the global solution architect community to further improve Schneider's services.

Who are you, and what do you bring?

• Experience in sustainability within a consulting context, where you have been working with multiple stakeholders within the delivery and commercial teams.

• You have subject matter expertise in sustainability standards such as GHG, GRI, CDP, and SBTI. Knowledge of corporate sustainability programs and the issues facing the industries in this space.

• You have a solid track record of developing strong client relationships with C-levels of large organisations.

• Ability to communicate and present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

• You have a solution-oriented mindset with a detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organised approach.

Dutch and English language skills are a must-have, and you will need to be fluent in both to drive change in this role. While this role allows remote work, being based in either Belgium or the Netherlands is mandatory.
