We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Sustainability Consultant (Climate Resilience) to support our growing professional sustainability consultancy team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of carbon inventories, baseline years, reduction strategies, reports describing annual changes in consumption, and establishment of targets

  • Establishing climate change strategies using frameworks such as TCFD: utilising climate data to assess risk and exposure to climate hazards and assessing transition risks toward a low-carbon economy

  • Development of net zero strategies for clients through real estate investment lifecycle

  • Development and delivery of training to client senior management teams on climate related topics, such as net zero, TCFD, science-based targets

  • Support implementation of climate strategy (e.g. acquisition screening assessments, sustainable design briefs)

  • Support development of our sustainability management software modules related to climate risk and net zero

  • Support engagement with clients and other external parties (e.g. heads of sustainability, asset managers, property and facilities management team

Skills and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of climate change risks and opportunities as related to investor expectations, ESG reports and other voluntary commitments

  • Knowledge of carbon reduction frameworks and standards, such as SBT, WRI GHG protocol

  • Experience with project management

  • A passion for furthering the sustainability agenda
