As Sustainability Sales Leader, you will be a part of the Private Equity EMEA Practice within our client's Sustainability Business division, which is not only one of the fastest-growing, innovative, and dynamic teams within the Group but also the leading organization within the Sustainability global marketplace.

Reporting to the Head of Private Equity Sustainability Business, EMEA, this is a newly created role, aiming to deepen the Sustainability consulting capabilities and position a best-in-class ESG & Sustainability advisory proposition for the Private Equity client segment.

Location: Home-office based (Europe)

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts from initiation to completion with responsibility for leading and managing the strategic development of overall accounts.

  • Coordinate with other business areas to identify and pursue further business opportunities.

  • Stay current and leverage a deep understanding of industry and best practices.

  • Strategic oversight of project management delivery activities with a scope on ensuring smooth and successful engagements.

  • Participate in c-level meetings with clients and function as a 2nd-level escalation point.

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with PE clients' key ESG leadership and PortCo's executive teams.

  • Function as the main point of contact between clients and relevant internal teams.

  • Establish the firm's Sustainability Business offering and serve as a trusted advisor on strategic and operational issues.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals for new/ follow-on engagements with covered accounts.

  • Participate in thought leadership activities.

About you:

  • University degree in finance, business, economics, sustainability, environmental sciences, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of consulting and/or consultative selling experience and an interest in pursuing a career in Sustainability & ESG.

  • Experience in working directly or indirectly in an investor environment, with sound knowledge of regulations and industry drivers. Having exposure to private equity and portfolio management activities would be highly appreciated.

  • Proven record of accomplishment in developing, managing, and executing client solutions.

  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, complex analysis and ideas in a concise manner. Additional languages will be highly welcome.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas.

  • Understanding and network of contacts in the large-cap and mid-market private equity industry will be highly appreciated.
