Danone is a leading multinational food-products corporation based in Paris,  that aim to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating and drinking practices, in line with their vision - Danone, One Planet. One Health - which reflects a strong belief that the health of people and the health of the planet are interconnected.

Acre were selected as Danone's executive search partner to fill a brand new role that would help turn Danone’s exceptional reporting and data into action through their global supply chain, moving beyond communicating, reviewing and reporting.

Based in their HQ in Paris, the role was designed so they could engage with c-suite and set targets across their global supply chain. With a global focus, the role required connections across the whole business, to move beyond communications and reporting to assess risk, ensure the correct decisions are being made and propose options to invest in the right areas, through driving change in the way resources are allocated. Due to the current pandemic, the entire recruitment process was completely virtual. Acre therefore incorporated Acre Frameworks into the process, to give an additional layer of understanding around the candidates soft skills and ability to navigate Danone’s complex corporate landscape.

Acre placed Nicolas Rogues, a Senior Manager from EY, focused on Sustainable Performance and Transformation with an excellent understanding of Climate Change, ESG and sustainable supply chains. Nicolas also has previous experience working for Parfums Christian Dior with strong understanding of the FMCG sector.

This role will look to set an industry leading benchmark and help to change the FMCG industry as a whole, resulting in better environmental performance and reduction of carbon emissions on a global scale.
