Acre is working with a renewable energy transition organization to help them find their Director of Asset Management O&M. This organization is developing large scale projects to accelerate decarbonization in all areas! Financially backed by one of the leading private equity companies in energy, emphasizing battery storage and solar assets. They are looking for a Renewable Energy experienced asset management professional to contribute to the success of the team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: As part of the company team and as the leader of asset operations you will be responsible to lead:

  • O&M service provider contract negotiation

  • Management of thirdparty O&M and asset management services providers

  • Preparation, analysis, review, and consolidation for monthly asset management and O&M reports

  • Monitoring and performance management of all company operating assets

  • Management of third-party consulting partners and other contract counter-parties in the performance of their duties.

  • Scoping, contracting and management of regular debt service, financing compliance, investor communication

  • Preparation of periodic asset management reports (including operational and financial performance)

  • Identification of optimization efforts on operations

  • On boarding of additional portfolios of solar, solar+ storage, wind, and energy storage projects

  • Team-members in budget creation and budget monitoring

  • Creation and management of an annual budget for the division. Includes assessing costs generated against the approved budget

  • Creation and management of internal operational processes to ensure ongoing success of the organization

  • Building and maintaining good working relationships internally with other functional groups as well as external stake holders

  • Assessment of production analysis reports for O&M, making required adjustments, as necessary

  • Internal communication and feedback with internal engineering and construction teams to provide lessons learned regarding warranty, and other O&M related items

  • Working with engineering and construction teams to developed standardized system

  • Establishment of new O&M subcontractors to provide support throughout the the organization asset portfolio

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)

  • 10+ years of relevant working experience with proven quantitative and leadership skills

  • Strong understanding of asset management and O&M processes

  • Proven ability to develop processes to manage solar, wind and energy storage system operations

  • Understanding of different electricity and capital markets for electricity generating assets (incentive programs, tax equity structures, and non-recourse debt)

  • Proficient in MS Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure and deliver on tight reporting deadlines
