Acre is supporting a European private equity firm seeking to hire an Investment Principal to join its blue oceans strategy. Dedicated to supporting innovation around SDG14, the team is looking to expand its investment team after the successful close of its fund last year.

Key Responsibilities:
Dealflow Generation and Analysis: Finding and evaluating investment opportunities within the ocean sector.
Investment Execution: Supporting the lead in executing investments, including conducting impact and business assessments, preparing investment documents, negotiating deals, monitoring investments, and planning exits.
Research: Conducting research on ocean impact, market trends, and related studies to inform investment decisions.
Strategy: Assisting the lead in contributing to the development of the ocean innovation ecosystem through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
Experience Sought:
A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in investment, strategy consulting or portfolio value creation
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Passion for the Environment: A genuine commitment to environmental conservation and a drive to improve ocean health.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with solid interpersonal communication skills.
International Experience: Exposure to international and multicultural environments.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with native proficiency being advantageous.
