Are you a paralegal looking for the opportunity to join a market-leading, purpose-oriented private equity investor?

This is a unique opportunity to provide high-level administrative support to a leading private equity firm committed to sustainability and ESG. With over €5 billion in assets under management, our client supports long-term partnerships with entrepreneurs through its four core businesses: renewable energy, sustainable cities, deep tech venture capital, and co-investment. Consequently, this role will position you at the forefront of European private equity that is having a beneficial outcome on our planet. Reporting to the Corporate Secretary, the Paralegal Corporate and Compliance focuses on the development of the management company's activities by monitoring various corporate and compliance tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Corporate life/Intellectual Property/Insurance

    • Monitoring the corporate life of the management company, its subsidiaries and investment vehicles

    • Participate in the investment vehicles' life from their constitution to their liquidation

    • Updating and managing the corporate mandate file

    • Liaising with the different company's departments to disseminate information to the relevant departments

    • Monitoring the management company's portfolio of trademarks and domain names

    • Monitoring insurance policies

  • Compliance

    • Implementing due diligence procedures for entering relationships and monitoring relationships with clients and portfolio companies

    • Updating monitoring files for statistical and regulatory reporting purposes

    • Participating in the drafting of regulatory reports

    • Alerting the Compliance Manager and the Corporate Secretary to any anomaly or risk of anomaly detected

Your profile:

  • Degree in business law (Bac+5) with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role in a private equity company, law firm or equivalent.

  • Good organizational skills

  • Strong command of IT tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • A good team player, you are known for your loyalty, diplomacy and discretion

  • Fluency in English is essential (understanding documents, written and oral communication)
