We are currently supporting an innovative, growth stage private equity fund focused on sustainable food and agriculture across Europe.

Food production is a major source of global GhG emissions; concurrently, food and agriculture production systems are facing unprecedented challenges that risk undermining the world's capacity to meet its future food needs. Innovation in this sector is desperately needed. Our client is committed to backing the firms that are developing the necessary solutions to this critical issue.

With that, our client is seeking an experienced investor to lead their food and agricultural strategy.

​

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities in the European Food and Agricultural sector.

  • Manage the preparation of investment committee papers, the review and assessment of due diligence reports and the review of legal documentation.

  • Grow and manage a team of highly capable investment professionals.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to originate investment opportunities across Europe.

  • Oversee investment and portfolio management and take lead investment management roles.

  • Oversee the regular portfolio reporting process.

Requirements:

  • 5+ year private equity investment track record in the European food and agriculture sector.

  • Direct senior investment experience with a small to mid-market PE fund manager.

  • A strong and active network across the corporate finance and broader intermediary community banks and other relevant organisations and hubs.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong educational background.
