They are now building a new business-to-business solar PV proposition focused on the rooftops of commercial and industrial buildings through revolutionising commercial and industrial rooftops for the benefit of the asset owners, investors, tenants, and the planet. Their ambitions go beyond solar - there is a wider opportunity around electrification, including battery storage and EV-charging.

Supporting the Marketing Director, the Senior Digital Manager's core responsibility will be managing the website, including 'portals' for customers, SEO and SEO strategy, content distribution, mailing/targeting programme integration with partners, and analysis. The objective is to provide a best in class, seamless digital customer experience. This is a critical role within an entrepreneurial team, and there is considerable room for career growth as we scale up and mould the role to suit your skillset.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake keyword research and create the strategy to build the company's profile.

  • Improve the usability, architecture, design, content, and conversion of the company website (still in development) with A/B testing to increase engagement rate.

  • Understand all customer data touch points to ensure digital opportunities are maximised.

  • Be responsible for the content and content management system of the website (WordPress). The site needs to work for SEO (including page structure, layout, and keywords) but also for the brand personality of HomeSun.

  • Optimise website content, landing pages and social and paid search copy

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns

  • Work with the content manager to optimise social campaigns

  • Devise off-page strategies to drive online traffic to the website - acquiring strong backlinks, press releases, guest posts, connections and online relationships.

  • Create email campaigns - including automation - through HubSpot or similar, tracking performance increase for both customer acquisition and retention

  • In-depth and regular audits of sites and competitor performance analysis using tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog

  • Stay current with all search engine algorithm changes and SEO industry trends and regularly inform and educate on emerging SEO technologies, opportunities, and best practices.

  • Establish and own the digital performance dashboards. Lead in the development and maintenance of all web metrics, including Google Analytics, and analysis and reporting for the website, SEO and campaigns, providing accurate, timely and actionable insight.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach

  • Extensive experience in keyword research, content creation, content gap and content marketing for SEO, minimum 3+ years

  • Understanding of site indexation / crawlability, website hierarchy

  • Strategic individual - with proven experience in website and SEO strategy creation.

  • Experience in analysing data, website analytics and SEO performance - recommending improvements Excellent communicator, comfortable taking an authoritative and collaborative approach, internally and externally

  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is essential

  • Excellent technical SEO knowledge and the ability to audit, identify and rectify technical SEO issues.

This role is based in London, however, there is a remote/flexibility option.
