We are currently working with a leading pension provider seeking a Senior Responsible Investment Manager to join the business.

Our client is an award-winning pension scheme whose small and dynamic in-house responsible investment team develops and manages the scheme's approach to ESG and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Engage with senior leaders and board members on key sustainability issues.
Undertake research and analysis on social, environmental and governance issues of companies within their portfolio.
Lead the scheme's stewardship and reporting activities, focussing mainly on social factors.
Maintaining high standards of reporting and engagement in line with ESG policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Significant experience working in an ESG-related role, ideally within the financial services or investment industry.
Excellent understanding of ESG issues, themes and stewardship strategies, including proxy voting and engagement.
Ability to analyse and evaluate company annual reports
Experience in engaging with senior leadership and board members on sustainability issues.
