Due to the acceleration of sustainability at a leading international bank, Acre is supporting to hire a new Senior Sustainability Manager in their sustainability team.

​

Reporting to the Director for Responsible Business, you will have the opportunity to join a bank who are prioritising sustainability as a core part of their corporate strategy. With an international remit, you will gain experience working with a variety of global teams.

So, what about you?

​

You will be an experienced sustainability strategist, with experience in financial or professional services. As Senior Sustainability Manager, you will have a proven track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, together with driving strategy across different business functions. Having global experience will be beneficial as the sustainability strategies will need to be tailored from region to region.

Responsibilities:

​

• Developing and implementing the delivery of the group sustainability strategy

• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the bank, leading sustainability forums, providing sustainability education internally, presenting the strategy and identifying emerging sustainability trends across the sector

• Advising and consulting with a range of business functions on sustainability topics, together with leading project management

• Monitoring and tracking sustainability projects, producing reports and disclosures on progress, as well as having oversight for sustainability reporting obligations

• Creating guidance and policies on commitments

Experience:

​

• Experienced sustainability strategist in a similar organisation within financial or professional services

• Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategy, ideally with an international scope

• Senior stakeholder engagement with experience in driving a culture change within an organisation

• Proven track record of setting up and delivering reporting frameworks, together with communicating these internally and externally

• Demonstrable experience working with a range of business functions to embed a sustainability strategy
