Acre is delighted to be partnering with a global consultancy company who is a leading provider of ESG advisory and technology solutions. They operate in various ESG domains, including ESG strategy, reporting, decarbonization, climate risk, circular economy, and supply chain due diligence, with a focus on human rights, governance, tax, and regulation. They serve both corporate and financial clients, usually including a holistic sustainability offering.
Role Overview:
To strengthen their commercial capabilities, the organization is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to take the lead in growing the ESG technology advisory market in the Netherlands. Building high-quality relationships with both corporate and financial institutions, positioning the organization as a thought leader in the space, and having an important voice in the further development of the ESG tech offering are key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell ESG advisory projects with a strong technology/software component.
Promote services related to specialist software for GHG accounting, ESG reporting, and more.
Generate opportunities with ESG Alliance partners and contribute to progressing leads.
Manage relations with clients (including CTO environments) and technology-enabled ESG service providers.
Stay updated on ESG advisory, D&A, technology, and alliance solutions.
Quantitative Responsibilities:
Identify and nurture qualified leads.
Successfully drive end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, engaging, and closing.
Support sales processes targeting 1MIO+ engagements in a role as an ESG thought partner.
Qualitative Responsibilities:
Contribute to Sales Events and Marketing Activities.
Propel Thought Leadership into the market (to be developed by EMA/global/NL Technology, Alliances, or ESG advisory teams).
Develop business plans for ESG advisory, Technology, and Alliances.
Cultivate relationships with ESG Advisory teams, alliance partners, and technology service providers.
Skills, Education, and Experience:
Solid commercial experience (9+ years), including new lead generation.
Academic working level (master's degree preferred).
Knowledge of ESG, technology, software, and specific alliance platforms.
Consultative mindset.
Strong pragmatic approach.
Effective communicator and team player to ensure cross-discipline teaming.
