As a rapidly growing, VC-backed social enterprise, they are seeking a full-time VP of Marketing to co-lead, mentor, and empower a 20-person strong marketing team at rePurpose Global. You'll collaborate with and serve as the strategy right-hand of Peter Wang Hjemdahl, Co-Founder & CMO. You'll also work closely with the directors of the four marketing functions (Creative, Communications, Strategic Marketing Projects, Growth) and help continuously improve both the pace and quality of their teams' deliverables. Your goal is to initiate and nurture a "flywheel effect" within the marketing organization and in turn, carry the venture to far greater heights.
Provide daily feedback and quality improvement suggestions on all team-based and cross-functional projects for all four marketing teams
Initiate and help directors create, execute, and continuously improve on important building blocks necessary for greater process autonomy and further team expansion (e.g., playbooks) Strategize, introduce, and optimize cutting-edge best practices, values, and concepts with the potential of nurturing the flywheel effect (e.g., growth hacking, lean start-up)
Individually mentor directors and junior managers on intangible yet critical values such as learning, collaboration, leadership, stewardship, organization, and prioritization
Create and execute with the director's horizontal layers that are applicable across the entire organization such as measurement & analytics, branding, and reputation management
Knowledge & Experience:
rePurpose is looking for seasoned, senior professionals passionate about the intersection of leadership, management, sustainability, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. Specific facets:
Over 8-10 years of work experience in marketing and communications (must-have) more than 2 years of experience in managing a marketing team of 5-10 FTE professionals (must-have)
Past work experience for relevant sectors (sustainability, social impact, consumer goods, or B2B SaaS) and geographies (Western Europe) strongly preferred
Strong verbal communicator capable of forming and nurturing key relationships with prominent business leaders, brands, agencies, and influencers
Excellent copywriting skills and elegant visual aesthetics, proven with a strong portfolio of past work that you have produced or lead
Excellent quantitative data intuition and marketing math skills, with the ability to direct marketing analytics projects and crystallize business insights from data
Quick learner with the ability to understand and distill down large amounts of technical concepts and information into clear and concise messaging for the mass audience
Possess an unparalleled attention to detail, even under time-sensitive environments
Have an unparalleled level of raw creativity & passionate for creative projects inside you
Adapt well to the fast-paced dynamic nature of a start-up environment, with specific acumens such as rapid prototyping, resourcefulness and creative problem solving

Salary Expectations: Competitive depending on your current location, with potential for raises, and equity participation.
Location: Europe and open to remote work with a willingness to adapt working hours to effectively work with the rest of the marketing division in India.
