VP Sustainable Finance - Product Control

Are you experienced in sustainable finance products and controls?

Acre is working with a leading global bank to help them hire a VP of Sustainable Finance - Product Controls. Reporting to the Head of Sustainable Finance Products, you will be part of the team leading the development and rollout of new sustainable finance products and solutions globally. You will be part of a market-leading team which has launched a wide range of innovative products and will be working closely with the leadership team to help grow sustainable finance for the bank.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and launching new sustainable finance products and solutions, with a particular focus on product controls and governance

• Monitoring and testing sustainable finance products across corporate, IB and retail business

• Ensuring that all new sustainable finance products have robust risk controls built around them

• Ensuring the business and product team adhere to operational processes and controls

• Acting as internal quality control and ensuring dipstick tests are done on clients and sustainable finance deals

• Identifying operational, regulatory and thematic risk areas for products and ensuring implementation of controls to mitigate any potential risks

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Good knowledge of sustainable finance products, controls and governance

• Good knowledge of regulatory developments in sustainable finance and mitigating greenwashing risk

• Understanding of how various teams like reporting, strategy, governance and risk work closely to manage and launch new products in banking
