This is a newly created position working with one of the UK's leading sustainable investment funds. The firm is a leading name in the sustainable and impact investing space and have been expanding at a steady pace over a number of years, supported by strong fund performance and ongoing increases in AUM.
The European Sales Director will work closely with the firm's executive team to conceptualise and deliver a comprehensive multi-channel distribution strategy across mainland Europe.
Develop and implement a proactive pan European sales strategy for the firm, working closely with the senior leadership team
Directly manage all new client relationships, attend pitches and ongoing client meetings with or without a member of the investment team
Represent the firm's unique sustainability driven investment proposition at client pitches and industry events
Manage the end-to-end sales process, coordinating with relevant colleagues as appropriate
Demonstrable examples of building commercial relationships with investors by highlighting the benefits that sustainability driven investment factors offer to an investment process
Deep understanding of the European investment management industry
Raising assets from one or more of the following client segments; pension funds, insurance companies, charities/endowments, family offices or intermediary platforms
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts
