Acre is working with Malvern Panalytical to attract a Global Sustainability Director who will be responsible for building and executing its global sustainability strategy.

Malvern Panalytical recently started its sustainability journey and has serious ambitions for the future – to reach net zero in its own operations by 2030, and across its value chain by 2040. The Global Sustainability Director will be responsible for creating the sustainability roadmap and driving its execution. As such, this is a key and impactful role for the organisation.

There is a high degree of commitment to sustainability across the organisation, as such the Global Sustainability Director will have full support from the Executive Team.

As Malvern Panalytical's new Global Sustainability Director, you will:

    Develop the organisation’s sustainability strategy from the ground up and create a roadmap to oversee its execution across the business. You’ll position Malvern as a leading player in sustainability on a global scale.

    Be a passionate and pragmatic sustainability leader that will make an impact across Malvern Panalytical globally.

    Drive traction and engagement across the organization to make sustainability thinking part of the company DNA. Through your visibility, you'll ensure consistent application and interpretations of the sustainability strategy and priorities.

What skills and attributes will help you succeed in this role?

    You have a proven track record in spearheading and successfully executing sustainability initiatives in line with established sustainability goals, in a technical and international environment.

    Experience with, and in-depth knowledge of, sustainability reporting and the global regulatory landscape. You are highly organised and results-oriented with demonstrated experience managing reporting processes.

    You are excellent at stakeholder management and can connect with people at different levels within the Malvern Panalytical organisation to get them on board with its sustainability journey.

    You are adept at change management within a complex matrix organisation and at identifying the needs of business units that are operating at different maturity levels.
