Our client is a global financial institution with an extensive suite of sustainable investment products focused on investing in companies which have core business models that are creating a more sustainable global economy. They are launching a set of new private market products to increase their thematic exposure and are looking for a Head of Business Development who has knowledge of and experience in private market and sustainable investing to lead on their promotion to the market, engagement with key strategic clients and partners, as well as leading the direct sales team.
Liaise with senior stakeholders to lead on discussions regarding product design and structuring for new product launches.
Developing a detailed understanding of the group's sustainable investment process and philosophy, to be able to speak authoritatively around positive impact investing.
Lead coordination of product launches.
Identifying new prospects and developing client relationships, globally.
Oversee the development of key marketing materials and financial promotions, including presentations, articles, consultant databases and other communications and ensuring suitability for marketplace.
Responding to client RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and due diligence material questionnaires.
Extensive experience in sales/distribution within the global investment management space.
The ability to think strategically about developing groups brand and position as a global leader in sustainable investing.
Demonstrable track record of raising assets for private market strategies.
Strong commercial knowledge of private markets and sustainable investment products.
Excellent academic qualifications are essential.
